Mailing List

Since the discussion groups have a bit of friction, and discovery issues, we have a mailing list. Sorry but it needs another login.

By posting on the list you are giving permission for your writing to be posted as a quoted excerpt here on https://virtualconcon.cyou/
Attribution will be given, with a link to your original post.

List is: https://groups.io/g/VirtualConCon/

While lists are valuable, someone coming into a list for the first time could be overwhelmed by the topics, and having to wade through long chains to come across the important bits. I think the solution will mostly involve quoting from the mailing list, as per above.

For example, to this very issue of how to excerpt from the list should be discussed on the list in this topic.

I thought a good asynchronous solution would be using BuddyBoss as the main engine of the website, so that discussions could happen on the website. This did not seem to work out, as the way it is set up there is too much friction, not enough features.
So this mailing list was set up.
Problem is that the discussions and info are now separate from the website.
During a live meeting I suggested that mailing list posts be turned into web pages

note: multiple quotes cause I’m trying different guttenberg blocks
