He will talk about the tools he developed that allowed him to schedule 42 readings, along with workshops and performances, in a very short timeframe.

Presentation on “Ineffable Con and more”

She got her start in fannish organising around 15 years ago as Treasurer of the Tolkien Society. Since then, she’s chaired four conventions in Harry Potter and Star Trek fandoms, as well as the first Ineffable Con, and held staff and committee positions in countless others relating to Tolkien, Star Trek and general science fiction.

I’m an experienced technology/engineering manager with 22 years of experience delivering custom software solutions at scale which delight customers. I lead the Business Management Services practice at Artic Consulting to create transformative business value for our clients. volunteer as the IT Director for The Mars Society; we are pioneering the exploration of Mars. I’m a member of the Steering Committee and responsible for keeping our online presences on the cutting edge since 2011. I also lead the MarsVR project to create research and training experiences using the latest virtual reality technologies that have direct application to human space exploration.

Miraya Berke creates experiences that spark delight! Her events company launched two unique and experiential festivals, Dessert Goals & Rom Com Fest. Miraya scaled both of these festivals from the ground up and in three years has produced 9 festivals and gathered over 30,000 attendees. Miraya and her festivals have been featured in Forbes, Washington Post, GMA, Hollywood Reporter + more. Now she is creating online event experiences, a dessert subscription box and designing a new platform for event organizers to better manage events.
